Email Marketing Specialist

We are hiring an Email Marketing Specialist skilled in planning and implementing strategic scenarios for email and SMS campaigns. We need your knowledge in creating, managing, and performing an email marketing content plan and analyzing its performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop email and SMS campaigns using templates and HTML through the relevant application features.

  • Plan and implement various strategic scenarios via manual and triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle, like post-purchase, review requests, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.

  • Create email automation workflows by utilizing the relevant application features.

  • Create targeted audiences and segments for each message to boost engagement and improve revenue performance in line with KPI objectives.

  • Create, manage, and perform email/SMS marketing content plans aligning with the company’s priorities and anticipated demand.

  • Use customer data, such as web behavior, to personalize the message and content.

  • Perform A/B tests, analyze results, and work on improvements to drive performance lift.

  • Report and analyze the campaign performance KPIs, such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue generated, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc.

  • Follow up on trends and email marketing strategies, get insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture, and retain these customers.

  • In-team work with the marketing and copywriting teams.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in email marketing for more than 2 years.

  • Experience in marketing automation platforms.

  • Knowledge and experience in one of the following email marketing tools—Mailchimp, Omnisend, Klaviyo, and Salesforce.

  • Knowledge and experience in Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B Testing, and other CMS.

  • Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of an extensive email marketing database.

  • Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch.

  • Experience using SQL and similar queries to analyze data.

  • Proficient in data analytics to identify key metrics and suggest improvements.

  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM.

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or WordPress will be a plus.

  • Understanding email regulations, best practices, and international compliance in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or CASL) will be a plus.

  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
