There was an idea—to make dressing feel simpler, more intentional, casually enjoyable. That’s how BEIGE | BROWN was born. We imagined a brand that could cover the full rhythm of modern life—moments of daily routine to the rare occasions that ask for something extra. A wardrobe that feels whole—not just a set of trends. What if you didn’t have to second-guess whether this goes with that? What if someone thought it through for you? Bit by bit, we began rethinking the staples: relaxed tailoring, everyday essentials, laid-back formalwear. Next came the foundation of the brand.

The Beginning of Our Story

Founded by Tamara Karpenko in 2023, the brand wasn’t built on trends but on a thoughtful approach to getting dressed—one that reflects how we actually live.

From the start, BEIGE | BROWN was rooted in the idea of intentional dressing—seeing clothing as part of a lifestyle, not a passing moment. Our concept grew from these guiding principles:

• Scandinavian-inspired minimalism, expressed through clean shapes, neutral tones, and an understated, calming palette.

BB Drops

At BEIGE | BROWN, we believe in producing only what’s needed—no more, no less. That’s why our collections are released as carefully planned Drops and their quantities are based on real interest and internal analytics. Every Drop is a considered step, avoiding overproduction while allowing room to adapt through preorders or extended demand. And because every piece is designed with the next in mind, styles from different Drops always speak the same language—staying mixable and cohesive.

We craft our collections with intention—relaxed tailoring, casual shirting, matching sets that feel just as right at work as after hours. The fabrics we choose—cotton, linen, wool, silk—are natural, breathable, and generally known for their versatility. The classic office uniform was never really built for comfort—just for compliance. We reimagined it. What if the staples of formalwear could feel as good as your favorite loungewear? What if they weren’t reserved for fluorescent lights and boardroom tables but made sense on your day off, too?

We approach tailoring with flexibility, shirts with ease, sets with coordination without overthinking. Blazers

Blazers for women have come a long way from their school-uniform-and-boardroom past. Once a symbol of structure and rules, they’ve evolved into a far more liberating thing. We now wear them as everyday outerwear—light jackets that pair with denim as they do with dresses. In the modern world, a blazer unlocks styling potential without any restrictions. We designed ours to feel like essentials, not exceptions—pieces you reach for instinctively. Whether it’s the Oversized suit blazer you throw on instead of a jacket, or the Houndstooth single-breasted blazer that makes you feel a little more elevated, today’s blazer is less about formality and more about freedom.

Shirts

Shirts for women were the first to go under the microscope. The fitted office shirt—stiff at the collar, pulling at the buttons—was never anyone’s favorite part of a work uniform, let’s be honest. So we started from scratch. Our version is oversized, easygoing, made to suit your workday—and your weekend. The Oversized striped shirt is perfect for when you want to sharpen your look, the vibrant Oversized linen shirt brings the breeze to casual moments. Both remind us that comfort shouldn’t be a luxury—it’s a standard.

Matching sets

Matching sets exist for one beautiful reason—to eliminate the daily dilemma of what-goes-with-what. They remove the guesswork from dressing and replace it with ease—two pieces, already in sync, already styled. But they don’t stop there. Our sets are designed to be essentials in their own right: a tank and ribbed trousers, a top and shorts, wide-leg pants with a matching shirt. Built to work as a pair but just as powerful when styled apart. Our favorite example? The lounge-inspired Relaxed ribbed top and Relaxed ribbed pants in beige—minimal and endlessly wearable.

Tailoring

Tailoring doesn’t have to feel tight, restrictive, reserved for obligation. We see it differently—as something to enjoy instead of enduring. That’s exactly why our approach leans into softness—with relaxed silhouettes and oversized shapes. We’ve even reimagined the three-piece suit, featuring the Oversized suit blazer, the Suit waistcoat, the Wide-leg suit trousers—keeping its masculine energy but stripping away the stiffness. The result? An outfit that feels like a bold statement and a sigh of relief at once.

Denim

Denim is no longer a fabric—it’s an undeniable fact of our lives. From its utilitarian roots to its everyday presence, we couldn’t leave this essential out. That’s why BB drops include classic Stovepipe midrise jeans in shades that go beyond the usual—soft milk and deep graphite. But denim doesn’t stop at jeans. A well-cut Denim asymmetric skirt brings just as much versatility and just as much ease.
