Our Fits
Slim Fit
This type of suit is usually narrow across the shoulders and chest, with a tight waist and narrow tapered leg. Designed to create a more fitted and slender look, slim suits have a neat and polished appeal that may highlight the athletic body type and long legs or make other body types look slimmer.
Modern Fit
Featuring a straight cut from the shoulders through the waist, modern fit is wider in the chest, waist, and leg, creating a sharp silhouette and making it a versatile option for any formal event. Suitable for any body type, this fit is easy to wear and style in numerous ways.
Tailored Fit
Tailored fit comes in between Slim and Modern, as it is neither too tight nor too relaxed. It features a shaped waist and clean lines, creating a stylish and neat silhouette. Usually, the tailored fit has slightly tapered trousers to add a smart appeal to the overall look.
Unisex Fit
This fit takes some features from men’s suits while others remain feminine. Compared to a regular women’s fit, the jacket has no bust shaping and is larger in the bicep and shoulder area. A more structured, unisex fit allows the outfit to flatter a wider range of body types.
How a Suit Should Fit a Woman
Blazer
Make sure the jacket size is correct, and pay close attention to the shoulder width. Ensure that hems and cuffs don’t end at the widest points of the waist, hips, and wrists. The length of the women’s blazers may vary depending on the style and design of the garment. Regarding what to mix with a blazer and what to wear under a suit, go for a classic dress shirt or a blouse.
View allShirt
The women’s shirts should be long enough to fit smoothly when tucked into the trousers but not too long to bunch up uncomfortably. The shirt shoulder seams should sit right at the top of the shoulder bones. A longer sleeve should taper down to the cuff and end where the wrist and the palm meet.
View allBlouse
The women’s blouses should fit comfortably on the shoulders and arms, not too tight or loose. The seam where the shoulder meets the crown should rest at the edge of the shoulder bone. The sleeves should feel comfortable enough to move the arms without being restricted by the fabric. The length may vary from long to mid-upper arm, depending on the style of the attire. The overall fit should be relaxed around the chest and waist and have a suitable length.
View allTrousers
Women’s trousers should fit comfortably around the waist and hips without wrinkling. The length of the trousers depends on the cut and the type of shoes you will wear. Straight, slim, and tapered pants should fall to the top of the shoe’s heel when measured from the back. Bootcut and wide-legged should end ⅓ inch from the ground and can be cuffed if your leg length allows it. The rise may vary, but make sure that the jacket covers the waistband even when you raise your arms.
View allSkirt
Skirts should fit comfortably at the waist and hip without excessive wrinkling. Classic women’s skirt styles feature A-line and pencil ones. The length varies from just above the knee to just below the knee. If a skirt has a slit, pay attention to not exposing too much of the leg. Be careful with the size, as the tight skirt may look inappropriate for the professional setting.

There is no rule about wearing high heels with suits, so if you prefer flats, you are totally welcome. The ideal heel will be a kitten one, as it is not too high and will allow you to walk comfortably if needed. A closed-toed pump is the best option for women’s shoes to complement the suit.
View allHow to Measure for a Suit
When it comes to tailoring, accurate measurements are one of the most essential parts of finding the perfect fit. Therefore, if you opt for a suit that will flatter your body, be ready to spend some time with a measuring tape. No help is needed, only your enthusiasm, your favorite suit, and close attention. Below, we will explain how to measure for a suit in the easiest way.
Waist
Measure the narrowest part of your natural waist, standing your feet hip-width apart.
Bust
Measure the bust's circumference at its widest point, wearing a bra you intend to wear with the suit.
Hips
Measure the fullest part of your hips.
Shoulder width
Measure across the top of the back from the tip of one shoulder to the other.
Sleeve length
Measure with the jacket or shirt on from where the shoulder seam meets the crown to the base of the thumb, where it meets the wrist.
Bicep
Flex your arm, find the widest part of the bicep, then relax the arm and measure the circumference of this widest part.
Inseam
Measure from the bottom of the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem along the inside seam.
Out-seam
Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem along the outside seam.
